First timer on RB, but not to building and rebuilding bikes. Not a perfectionist either and I will not be winning any monthlies. However, I have just picked up a 1992 Kona Cindercone frameset and forks. Always wanted one, but only got as far as a Tushingham B52 in the early days, then a Specialised Stumpjumper, then a Rockhopper then a GT Avalanche.
The KCC will not be to spec and will be loaded with Deore thumbies, XT front and rear and some period Bontrager rims...and other odds and sods I have lying around. Looking forward to completion, interaction on the forum and possibly some advise...cheers.
