Ritchey

hi
on our travels yesterday a friend and myself stumbled on this frame and fork.

it has multiple issues. very stuck bottom bracket, broken cable stop, bent
derailleur hanger and someone cut the slit in the seat tube down an extra
inch or so. these are all the visible defects.

we couldn't read the serial number clearly but it sure looked like a ritchey.
so took a gamble. I cleaned off the serial number and it appears to be a `B' series ritchey.
my friend was `disappointed' he wanted it to be an early fisher if anything.
he's also not a collector of American brands so said I could have it.

am I correct? if so what year and model do you think it might be?

rough as it may be, I believe there may be a few ritchey collectors
who would disagree with you.
what's the concensus? save it or out to the yard as garden art?

If it is your size I would consider getting it done up

At the least would be cool wall art until a true Ritchey collector comes along and can offer a good swap

Most likely an 1984 Timber Wolf.

7 = 17" (Ritchey measures Center to Top)
B = B series frame (Timber Comp has roller cam mounts, Commando with camo paint (duh) and blacked out build).
16 = Build order.
