Everything is a challenge.. Custom made bolts as the thread was something weird and non standard..

A good day today...A lot of mysteries solved thanks to a certain awesome retrobiker sending me this pic of Garys Bike

-Confirmed that the rear hub is in fact an exceltoo...(I told you so to everyone who said it was a union :P )
-Union Rustless spokes...see red circle!
-The rims are Schwinn S-2 2.125..I have figured they where Arayas for over a year but now I know for sure.

thanks for the kind words guys!

I got this close up photo and it is clear I had the chain wrong. It is a regina record extra gold/black. you can tell by the drilled out links and low profiles...I managed to get one NOS...

I have updated the build sheet on the first page.

Union Rustless Spokes and Nipples..NOS..you can make out the "U" stamp on the spoke in the pic above...
