Sure man.

I took it to an older bike store and gave them the frame and the hub I wanted to fit. They "cold set" it wider using a large bar, and then bent the dropouts back parallel. You check the alignment with a straight edge or string. When I got the frame back I measured to make sure it was perfectly square..it was a bit off so they tweaked it till it was just right. As expected, this cracked the brazing at the bridge and seat tube so we rebrazed it and smoothed before plating.

See pic..fits like a glove (disregard incorrect freewheel..have since found the correct one. It is a 14-26..not a 14-28)

Thanks for the compliments guys!

A few updates...

managed to get the exact correct freewheel..suntour 6 speed 14-26, and it is in very good shape!...threw it on the correct exceltoo hub...spins nice...need to build the wheel!

Also the holly grail of klunker forks...a first generation, undrilled cook bros 26''...needs to be rechromed..will happen soon!

Somehow, a straight fork in this frame is odd. But if it's what they used BITD, who am I to complain ;)

Great find that fork, what does undrilled mean?
What did they use to drill?
