I was 17 in 1993 and I remember Konas from that era with a lot of fondness. My riding mate had a Cinder Cone and I was on a Falcon, so you can imagine my jealousy.
Anyway, when this little Hahanna popped up on eBay I BINed it immediately, despite the 3 hour round trip to collect it.
It's a great example of what I remember as a "proper" introductory mountain bike. My step daughter is too small for it at the moment so I am popping it into the shed and crossing my fingers that she grows in time for summer 2012
