the catalog says mavic 195 rims...so the front wheel might be orig..
it looked/looks like in really good shape...for at 23 year old bike..!

the one i sold to I-Am-iron-Man, for my mate...had the orig stem
Wonder how far along in the rebuild/refurb is he?

Always makes me happy when I get a mail saying this thread has been updated, even better when I'm mentioned!
Unfortunately I've made no progress with my Kapu at all (apart from realising I can't get the BB out and spotting another dent on the DT, right behind the head tube!!) and it's parked in my garage. I also haven't made any progress on the nice 2015 Kapu I picked up either - I've run into a series of distracting events where I bought a house but then immediately split from the girl I was with, so I'm currently severely limited on $$!

Still got the stem though!
