Projected lighting

Chap passed me the other day and his light system shone the light so literally the back portion of the tyre was illuminated red, front was the same.

It looked really effective so i might get a set unless they cost the earth.

Anyone know the system im talking about ? cost? links?

That seems to illuminate the whole tyre where the lights i saw i swear it was only the leading and trailing edge of the tures. Not at the sides,only the red at the back and the white at the front. The front seemed to pulsate slightly, if that helps it ID

There seems to be a few innovative lighting solutions out there these days. A few weeks back someone on here posted about laser 'lanes' which project out to the side of your bike, to show cars etc how much room they need to pass you safely.

It's a LOT less apparently

$199 for the 700c version

$189 for the 26" version pre-order
(up to 2.2" wide, so proper MTB support, although they do advise against taking them off-road. I'm tempted though ...)
