Paint job doesn't look up to the usual Miyata standards.

(am thinking where the blue meets the lugs - seems a little sloppy)

I think you're right on that

Have spotted before with other ones with this same paint, including the RidgeRunner Team mountainbike, that the transitions leave room to be desired. Would it keep me from buying one if were in the market? It is a bummer ...but no, absolutely not. I am more than confident that with the flaw it is still the best you could get from a mass producer and among the best of the whole industry at the time - hands down. Next to my PR-6000 I would say
