Ride duration of 4-5hrs
NO HELMET= NO RIDE
Newmillerdam. A country park with over 200 acres of woodland and history as far back as 1285. slmracing is our guide for the day as we wind through the park and merge with the ex-railway lines for an easy day in the saddle with some short burst climbs and root-hopping.
The food stop is the same location as the meet point. the plan is to grab some pub grub at the end of the ride due to the low mileage and to make the most of daylight as we will be saying goodbye to british summertime.
Most of the route is fairly sheltered but warm/dry clothing advisable considering time of year and trail snacks will keep us going until we arrive back at the pub.
By all means bring some stale bread for the ducks at end of ride.
