I did mention to you I thought the Proflex was quiet, maybe a bit creaky towards the end of the ride

Turns out the creaking was my knees

Re:

Had a very enjoyable 3.5 hour ride out with the youngsters this afternoon in Pitmedden.
I'm gonna be a wee bit sore tomorrow :)

Well, if you stayed on your bike more instead of going for a roll in the tussocks half the time, you’d have been fine.

Re:

It wasn't the riding that that's caused the aches, it was the falling off!
(I think that applies to all of us ).

Re:

What kind of lanterns?

Rob could go with a Lantern Rouge for our rides  ;)

I've removed the "upgrade" Reynolds 501 handlebars from my "shitty city bike" and put the heavier but wider handlebars back on, they have some sweep on them, I didn't get on with the dead straight Reynolds bars.

This thread is taken from other forums:

What you did today to prep?

Post what you did, practiced, or bought.

If you didnt do anything, feel free to read what others have done to prep.

For me, I purchased 4 lanterns that will also be used for camping.
Now where's my Mod button
