So this is my first total restoration, frame resprayed by Bob Jackson, all the other spanner work by myself. I'd class this as a journey of discovery about my own mechanical (or lack of!) skills above all else. If I've gained nothing other than another bike I should at least be able to avoid the mistakes I made on this one when I start my lovely old Harry Hall next year... Just don't ask about the TWO sets of brake cables consumed before getting it right and the fun I had with some Benotto tape". :roll:
