If this is the one I think it is - very nice! Might there be a green frame hiding in the background... No rack mounts?

Well spotted chaps. He assured me that it's in fine if careworn fettle. And is throwing in a rack and hopefully panniers. Did a bit of wheeling and dealing. Cash is king!

I still get excited at the prospect of a new slightly risky bike bought with little info. then the strip and fettle, paint or patina, making it yours.

It's here. Needs a lot of TLC. But basically sound. Characterful patina.

Hoods shot and unavailable (6500) will do something creative with bar tape. Rack has no mountng bars to seat stays. Seat clamp looks odd, middle ring ordered. Mudguard bolts missing in part. Lots of chips and minor rust. Filthy. A great project. Just what I wanted.

m looks to be a good find. has it got semi wrap over stays ?
what does the down tube decal say ?
i have a skewer s post bolt like that come off an old specialised hybrid
easier to play safe with the saddle when chained up.
