Yes, seen it before as I have the Alves 531 MTB. I see you have an in line gear adjuster. I need something for the rear brake as there's nothing at present, and was wondering if the same would work?

hi i googled 'overbury bicycle' there is stuff there[ builder,address of shop,ceased trading date]
maybe it was a bespoke frame with no model name as such.
more passive digging,one reference to...' overburys classic tourer' 531st 1990

Thanks for looking. I came across something on lfgss about a smaller one but no actual info about Andy making tourers. Like you say, probably made to order.

Will be getting fully stripped and rebuilt over the next couple of weekends.

give me a bell on monday. I will look in one of my catalogues all kinds of gems in there including non longer availble shifter hoods.

So, new black mudguards, black hoods, black tape. Would you go for ice grey or black cable outers? The grey is nice with the blue but the black matches rather than contrasts.

Not sure which to buy. Help.

Id go for the grey cable outers, look nice and different to the usual black .

Black otters, silver mudguards, plain black cork tape, bin STis in favour or aero levers (black hoods) and barend shifters,

However that wasn't the query so fairly certain it doesn't help.
