1999 Kona Lava Dome

Hi. I thought I would post a picture of my recently finished Kona. I have been on here a couple of months and only used the Wanted section, looking for rims and other bits.

This is cool. Love a purple Kona. Also loving your gearing! 11s with a 40t? Or does the chainring just look that big cos of the guard? Also is your clutch off? Been a while, so can't remember if for Shimano mechs forward was on or off.

Thanks. Yes the clutch is off in the pic. I went with a 1 x10 set up, partly due to cost and we had a cassette in stock at work and a friend gave me a dodgy shifter which needed some loctite. It is an 11/42. The chainring is a Hope 38t withthe original outer chainring ground down to make a bashring.
Just need lockdown to finish so I can get out on to the North Yorks Moors..

I don't suppose you could please do me a favour and measure the axle-crown on your fork could you please? Just trying to work out what I can get away with in mine.
