in the early/mid 60's I joined a local Camberwell club the Jaguar Road Club that had Claud Butler as its honorary president, I met him a few times (usually in the bar downstairs from the club room) and was introduced to his son Clive who rode with the club back then, my question is does any learned members of the forum know anything of Claud's domestic background, who his wife was,how many children did he have? there's lots on the interweb about his cycle business etc. but none about him the family man....I'm not planning an autobiography although I'm sure it could make a good read but just interested
