Colnago c40 sizeframe

Hi guys, I have recently aquired a colnago c40 b stay in size 55.5cm centre to centre, 55.5 top tube and I am having doubt about its size. I usually buy bike between 54 and 56 but never owned a colnago before. And since the frame is NOS I would rather triple check before mounting. I'm 5'10 (177cm) with a inside leg of 83cm. Any thoughts? Thanks
 
I'm no expert on Colnago but I would say it's 1cm too big.
We're the same height etc. and my classic Italian steel frame is a 54cm c-t-c seat tube and a 54.5cm top tube with a 10cm stem.

sounds like it's nicely inside your normal range of preferred frame sizes to me.
