I have been digging through a complete set of MBA from 1992. I havent touched those mags for aprox 10+ years so it was quite fun to read them...
What I find so amusing is that almost in every mag there is a couple of new suspension bikes and forks being presented in ads, news or tests. And everyone (as in every manufacturer) where making their own suspension fork even small obsucre manufacturers.
Its also interesting to read one of Zaps colum where he compare the MTB world at that time to the Motorcycle world in the middle of the 70'ies which consisted of bikes to which you could attach cool parts from small manufacturers to.
Very nice read IMHO, much more funny than to read about todays obsession of 12 inch DH bikes, old farts 29" bikes or crazy 24/26 dorkmobiles.
