Nexus shimano roller brakes question

Hi

I just bought the girlfriend a secondhand but pratically new Diament Topas bike with Nexus shimano roller brakes
I have never seen these brakes before and they seem to have a problem?
When you brake it feels like the headset is loose but it is actuall the brake that seems to wobble???
Has anyone any advice on how to fix this
Brakes are the 2011 Nexus model

any help appriciated

I think they have a torque limiter on the front brake, maybe its that that is causing it?

That knock is completely normal for a Roller brake. It's part of the braking mechanism, rather than the torque-limiter.
Look in the notes of the Shimano technical docs.

If you apply the front Inter-M brake strongly while the bicycle is
stopped and then shake the wheel, you will notice that there is a small
amount of play in the brakes. This is normal, and will not cause any
problems at all while riding.
