Interesting look at XTR M900 vs the latest XTR , call me old fashioned, but aesthetically I prefer the M900...

A lot has changed, but in essence XTR still shifts your gears and stops the bike, whether it's a 1994 Trek or a modern Orbea. A lot has changed, but nothing had changed :?

Re:

of course - same goes for the Ford Mustang, the Chevy Camero, and the Dodge Charger !

That poor Judy has the elastomeres crumbled... painful.
And then talking about brake performance using 25 year old shimano brake pads. Couldn't they have used a fresh set of koolstops instead? Those are plenty strong enough to send you flying over the bars.
I really don't know why I always get so worked up by those kind of videos.

Re:

I Love the comments ref the Trek.

Im sure there are collectors everywhere now scouring the internet and queuing to buy one, they are just that good you know...PMSL

it tracks around all over the place because the forks are dead.
he is right about one thing, the rear mech being the groupset badge :)

I'm pretty partial to second generation XTR as well.

M950 8 speed is rather nice, before it all went a bit weird eith Rapid Rise mechs etc.
