Z1 bomber bushes help

I have some 2001 marzocchi Z1 MCR forks and despite looking a little oldschool on my 2013 merida they are lovely

Problem is the bushes are getting very worn. The play in the lowers was noticable when i got them and over six months it has gotten worse. It seems replacement are no longer available.

I also have some Z4 forks of the same age that i don't use, they look a bit scuffy but felt a lot more solid when ridden. Do they share the same bushes and would it be posable to swap them?

you'll need to remove the seals though to fit them..

the seals are pretty difficult (though its not impossible) to get out without damaging them though.. so it might be worth changing the seals at the same time..

you can get seal kits from ukbikestore too..

You should definitely change the oil seals as you are doing the bushes.I regularly use my 1997 Z1s on a modern hardtail and they cant be beat.Z1s rule .Checkout the service manual....
