Your Hack, Rough and Ready, Used and Abused Bikes!

In light of all the debate about BOTM and the nature of 'competing' and elitism, I thought we could have have one of those one pic per post threads featuring everyone's not so pristine machines. Bikes that get used, but more importantly abused. Just for fun!

I will start with this piece of crap I have been riding around the last couple of months. The observant will note the absence of a front brake. Those forks are off it now as well, and it is covered in dog hair and bird droppings.

That is the way I roll.

It was a hundred bucks Pulse from the Bay, and its a winter hack!

Believe me it is as rough as my grandmother's tongue, stripped unpolished and needing TLC it is never going to get!

I will get a couple of pics of it in its full 'glory' once my shoulder recovers.



PS No offence to the seller, if he is on here! My nephew scored it for me and presented it to me, as I am always banging on about my old polished Attitude. Gotta love the sentiment, but I have emailed him a Klein brochure now to make sure he gets it right next time!

My work hack, covered in dirt, dented, bubbling, laquer peeling off S&S Attitude, believe me its alot worse than the picture suggests.

It's my pub bike, my track bike, my only bike. Bought to get me back into shape after a three year gap after my last bike was nicked.

We're do I strat, all mine are Hack bike really as that's how I treat them.

but for Winter then if off road it'll be the Altitude, perpetually covered in mud to hide all the missing paint

If it's more track or road, I have a new one and it's the Alu-O being Alu it's at the bottom of the heap.


but if the snow comes out again I'm sure I might ride the Fusion once more

Ok so the Kona comes out as well but it's in for repairs.
