Youngs of Lewisham

Mr Weirdo

Hello

Today I had to go to a local model shop in Bromley to see if I could find a suitable humbrol enamel blue paint to match my frame.

Whilst there I bumped into a gentleman called Raymond Young I believe he was one of the brothers who owned of course.....Youngs of Lewisham and he was responsible mainly(?) for lacing wheel hubs and rims and the general running of the shop/s.

He saw my Geoffrey Butler frame I had brought with me and had a look and commented on it. He thought it was a bit heavy...I was crest fallen as I am a bit of a secret weight weenie lol.

It was good to see him and made my day!

All the best everyone!

What he said doesn't make any sense. He does not know you and there-fore shouldn't make inferences. My Moser is a chrome-moly (Falck) one and you know what? It's all mine and I love it. If someone picked it up and said it was heavy, the first thing I would think is, "Wimp..."
