Yeti Ultimate '89 - mint, complete and original

conde

Retro Newbie
My '89 Ultimate is for sale! Bought it new through Cyclogical in London, I ordered it in black from the factory [or was it 'shed' then?] - with red Bulls Eyes, Speed Contoller brakes, Cook Bros Racing cranks [black and as new]. This bike really has only done a few miles from new and is virtually as new, even down to the tyres with the molding nibs still on - they are Specialised Ground control Extreme. Gearset is XT, and I had Campag brake levers fitted. Serial number [under crank] is U238. No damage anywhere and NO splits in seat / frame tube [I understand that can be a problem].

I plan to put a load of close-up pics onto Flikr [or similar] in next few days, but here's one for now.

Guide price £1500 - if everyone told me I was crazy I might think again, but that's still less than it cost me 20 years ago! PLUS where in the world is there a better original one for sale??

that's right - didn't have the nerve to auction it but I think here's a good place to reach people who appreciate it!

Hiya mate- can't seem to see it on the post, but the stunning bike must be blinding me, but what is the size. . ?
You interested in splitting frame only? :?:

Thats what I was hoping. . . Redundancy in the house means I really mustn't be spending, but an ultimate would be so cool. The craiglist stunner has sold, and the black ebay €1300 german respray was too strong for me.
#A 16" for £400 would be perfect. .
