Yeti pro fro refurb

if it is an original fork accu-trax, and you found that the measure 1-1/8 worthless.
The size is 1-1/4.

ameybrook, which is the color gray RAL, you know?

Well, there isn't an exact RAL match. People have tried 7042, 7036, etc., and I'm not sure which is closest.

Early ARCs frames were prepped so the surface was uniform and then it was clear-powdered. Hence, "grey." I'm still learning how this process went so I can give it a shot on one of my frames. Later frames were likely powdered, but again, I'm not sure what RAL is closest.

Yetiprofro - I sent you a link to a headset on eBay that will work.

F.R.O. - ARC grey, opinions vary between 7036 and 7040. I used 7040.

I think I have located some powder in a volume less than 10 kilos ral 5018
Was thinking of getting the accutrax the a tax stem and bars white what do you think? Sick of trying to get the yellow for forks also do not want to spend another 80 quid for the sulphur yellow. Been three days now searching for 1 1/4 headset . Really don't know where to look , would have loved to set it up as it was meant to be, the shocks I put on never felt right and was heavy.

Frame fork and stem all turquoise would be the simplest and in my opinion best looking option.

Yes I have seen that look all in ral5018 , that is the easiest option wish I could find a small order of the neon yellow though

actually I also doubt.
I have seen gray frames and gray seem to have a very slight glitter.
I guess the color is somewhat confusing and varies depending on the year.
is what I think, but not if it is correct!

Maybe the King headset you bought is a Devolution, meaning you can fit a 1 1/8" fork into a 1 1/4" frame. Therefore the Manitous did work, but the Accutrax doesn't anymore.

They used this setup on virtually every model (Kokopelli, Sherpa, Road project aside) from August 1989 until 1998 or so.
Correct for Kokopelli and Road, but the Sherpa is 1 1/4".

Ral

My local powder coaters stock all the colours available (Large business) so amount of powder is not an issue. Could you not get a local coater to do it for you, to save buying all the powder? :?:

I live in uk the powder coaters do not hold lots of stock, but I have managed to buy a kilo of ral 5018 desert turquoise . Funny thing picked up my shoot blasted farm and fork and its the exact grey being mentioned the stripper(paint that is) said some clients just clear lacquer that I think is really close to the matt power coat look. Just need a 1 1/4 headset and I could be riding again on my beloved yeti and to think I was going to by a trek 29er , anyone in the uk with a headset to fit please let me know
