If it were a 92, then it'd be more attractive [IMO].

Yeah. How about those welds on Curve's 92?
right, the welds make the early ARCs special. afaik its just the early grey ones were frank went crazy.

WTF FTW!?

strictly speaking that arc isnt grey, its unpainted to save weight. powdercoat is pretty heavy. yeti grey is much darker in colour.

HOWEVER, I do wish maybe I'd bought that early grey ARC that Elite was selling years back. Grey and army green joint Ringle/Grafton collaborative build show bike.

Mmm.

you and me both
And I kinda wish I hadn't sold it. . . but it was just too big for me
I think cracking ARCs is a slightly unfair comment. They were a superlight frame for the time, with a 1 year warranty, and as was common with race frames back then (ritchey anyone?), they were race for a season and throw away. Its nice that many have lived so much longer. I'm waiting for my koko to crack a,d after 13 years of it being my main MTB, I view this as a bl00dy good innings. .
I'm not particularly colour precious, but you're right, the red doesn't look right for this. Chuck in the dudes "issues" and I think elsewhere is a better bet. . .

can someone post up a pic of nic's old arc?
I've got the pix, but sorry to wander off topic, I always seem to have trouble uploading. I resize, taking a yonk on my computer, in Photoshop, and then when they are sub 256k, I attach>preview>attch> preview etc. Then up it comes, and the pix are small. How do I get a 256k pic to be nice and big? Is this where photobucket and stuff comes in. . ?
Or jason, maybe I just email you pix tonight. . ..

Cheers mate, tear to my eye. . .
Green even to the cable guides. . . oh wow. .

and cheers Scant, I M G codes??? Soor to be daft, IT isn't my strongest point. . .
