YETI ARC

Hello together,

a few month ago i got the chance on a Yeti ARC in my size. It was newly black powder coated and in a good structural condition.
Years before i saw a ARC of a friend which had fixed my mind. A perfect matching built up and a yeti color scheme that isn't so famous. But like so often...it had a crack and the owner wasn't willing for a repair. At last he decided to split and sold the parts...later i'll post here a photo of this beauty !
I don't know what happened with this frame set, but now i want use this repainted set to get my dreamed ARC!

But back in time...i received the frame set with a black Accutrax and a silver Onza Mongo II headset with a option on a black Atac which sounds perfect :) What i need for this built up were a lot 3dv parts - so i was shopping around ;)

So, here are the 3dv collection:

and fitted

and here the first result - black ARC with 3dv loaded parts

cheers
Norman

p.s. i changed the Graftons brakes right now ;)

I like it..but I like all Yetis. Hopefully a proper 3DV Moby in the ever present 26.8mm in the future.

Nice work!

That looks awesome!

Never thought of the 3DV on a black frame.

Not as stealthy as yours! Keep up the good work!

Thanks mates - happy about your positive feedback!

Jeroen, nice Yeti double!

The next step is to change the silver Onza Monga - here is waiting a black Kingsbery NIB

and a 3dv Renthal RC130 - a leightweight with 130g - lighter than a Hyperlite ;)

Re:

more purple ?

i'll reano the Atac top cap - so there will be no silver parts anymore.
ok, maybe i could change the screws for the chain rings, bottle cage and canti bosses.
As canti brake cable hangers i'll take a pair of Avids in purple.

I don't want use 3dv Ringle hubs - the risk to get a crack or a crash is to high for me...the XT hubs are the best in function and quality.

To finish the ARC i need 6 pieces of the Yeti-Ferrules! Maybe someone can help!?

cheers
