ok I moderate my response to change the word "always" to "mainly".

For that frame I'd go with a RS Judy DH. And like ameybrook says, colour matched. And ahead too, you only really ran threaded steerers in 95 if you were running an old fork on a new frame.

U can still get away with M900 yes.

Ringle or ATAC stem. Ringle or Onza or Chris King headset.

Looking forward to seeing this build progress.

The 1996 schwinn homegrowns that were yeti made had 1 1/8" headsets.

Mag 21s are cool for anything after 93. I'm gonna run Judy DH on my 96 ARC AS - but Manitou 2's on my 92/93 ARC

Choosing the spec is easy - finding suitable 1" 1/4 steerers is the hard part :shock:
