Recently bought this as I've always wanted one. The spec of the bike isn't as I think it should be, so I intended to build it using blue Ringle/Grafton etc.

Started to strip it down today to give it a good clean and I realised that it could use a respray to be the bike I've always wanted. So I have two options:

1. Strip it, get it resprayed, rebuild it with 'correct' parts. The problems with this are a) I'm not sure I can afford ANOTHER resto/rebuild project. b) I've already got a few projects to be getting on with. c) I don't think I've got enough time to do it justice at the moment.

2. Build it as is, with cheaper parts and use it as a daily rider. This is a great idea, except that I've already a couple of bikes that I'm intending to do this with. And it seems a shame to put cr*p parts on a Yeti!

So, my third option is to sell it and get another Yeti ARC at a later date.

I'm testing the water at the moment. Is anyone interested in this with the Rock Shox fork and the Chris King headset for £350? If not, I'll revert back to option 1 or 2.

From what I've seen the bike rides great. Very tiny, tiny dent on the top tube. Paint can be seen to be coming away at the bottle cage mounts and rear of the seat tube around the front mech. Headtube has some chips that have been (badly) touched up at some point. Rear stay has been bashed by the chain and has some signs of chainsuck. As I say, it could use a respray!

Viewings welcome, based in Stockport. If you want more photos, let me know.
