Yesterday I learnt a new word.......Turbid

Turbid....as decribed to a 'Natural' and biodynamic Sancerre from Domaine Sebastien Riffault at last night tasting of 'unusual' wines.
Most of the wines were biodynamic and made with minimal intervention (Natural)....which precluded the use, or minimum use of sulphites.
The result...cloudy wines (turbid), oxidised or oxygenated which ever way you look at it, stripped of any fruit character...unbalanced, acidic, musty and just plain horrible, in my humble opinion.

Sulphur dioxide...I love it :D It's a fantastic preservative serving as an antibiotic and antioxidant.

So don't worry if you see a wine label with the words 'Contains Sulphites'. Most wines do...and have done for many decades.

Insouciant...............that's a good one too.

So's notwithstanding.

But Quetzalcoatl on a triple word score is the daddy................. :P

Not new at all!

Been around in modified car circles for ages. When some young chav finds that his naturally-aspirated 1.3 Clio isn't fast enough, he saves up to get it turbid! :D
