Year of my S-Works Stumpjumper?

Can anyone help age my S-Works Stumpjumper. I think it’s a 1997 (first two digits of the frame number are 97), but not 100% sure.

Its not a Stumpjumper, its an S-Works M2 in Team Red.

Looks like a '97 which was available in Team Red or Dove Green.
I have the Dove Green - great bike!

Oh cool, thanks for that. I initially thought it was early (‘95 ish), but the bridge between the seat stays was different. Good to know what year it is now. Can start gathering suitable parts.
