Yay...I'm building a man cave

nice one carl, can't beat a good mancave just don't let the mrs or kids have access to it or before you know it it'll be a dumping ground for "family shit" and your rides will be ousted

Flat,slope or pitched?

 Pitch and Shiplap. Double door. May paint it rather than natural wood finish. Farrow and ball some nice exterior colours.
Oh...and in time I will have stainless door furniture, not that black stuff

Its a Acer palmatun disectum species of tree, not sure of the cultivar, its a grafted plant from a dutch nursery, looks fine for food, but has dried out at some time in the last few weeks and is showing signs of stress, (Shameless plug If you want a real tree come and see me at work - www.premiertrees.co.uk) get it planted and all will be well, not to keen on direct sunlight so plant in dappled shade for best results.

   What's this...Gardeners World all of a sudden :D

Thanks for the advice fellas...not too much sunlight where it is going, and I have just watered it. Was going to pop a climbing rose next to it....any recommendations
