Wanted Xtr m950 dust cap 3d scan

Ah therein lies the problem. I don’t have any spares so couldn’t send you a complete as I’d have used it not sure how 3d printers work, could the operator “fill in the gaps” as in the missing bits?

I found a guy whos doing 3d printing just round the corner from me I going to see him next week to see what he can and can't do so if anyone wants anything doing or info let me know and I see what he says pics of stuff would help I going to see if he can do me some orange badges for the front and back of bike

Yes likely so. But I’d be concerned about it fitting properly and also since it’s a freebie I’d rather give him something to copy exactly which can be scanned.

The xt ones are very different, they don't have the tabs that hold it in place and are rubber not plastic. They vaguely fit in the space but are no way the same or ideal.

I’ve no idea if it’s easy or hard but I can find out when I speak to him.

The Syncros top cap he did me was actually from a picture with no measurements so he did well. Couldn’t believe the angle was correct on first try.

Temporary yes, they don't fit into anything so are kind of floating but should do a job.
