Xtr dual control on retro Mtb?

yeah, I’m just going to do some basic xt brifters I don’t think it’s worth the trouble, and the newer xt ones don’t match the speed I have decided on

Wise, but a shame, we like experiments on here for the rest of us to learn from.

It’s just because I’ve looked and the cable ones are usually more expensive and my budget do my bike isn’t a million pounds. But if I find a good pair I might give it a shot. Also my drivetrain is 8 speed and I’m not prepared to swap it all out again
