XTR canti levers with XT V brakes?

Stx mounts don't work, or at least don't without a bit of work as the pins in the xtr shifters don't quite line up. I know as I went down this route. You can get pod mounts that work and as it happens I have a spare set as I recently got myself some x-lite versions. So if you fancy some nos magura style mounts for £10 posted, drop me a pm. It will be cheaper than stx stripping and will work without fettling.

Just out of interest - not trying to interupt this potential deal - but where do you get said pod mounts normally?

Not sure as yet. May strip them down and see if I cn work it out and get parts made. Unfortunately I don't have the luxury of time to do that now as the missus is picking her bike up tomorrow night and wants to go and play. And if I'm honest I want to get out on the trails again and patience never was one of my strong points. lol

I've had a look in the cave and can only find one of them, I think your best route would be to buy the one's off ishaw.
If you can use the odd one I have then drop me a pm and I'll send it to you.

This quick make my bike work again bit has suddenly exploded.

My intention was to fit some cheap 2nd hand forks.

What I actually did;
Rock Shox Tora forks
Cane Creek headset
Kalloy stem (short term fix)
Deore XT V brakes
Deore LX levers

Nobody warned me how addictive this was
