The trouble is, some people do pay these prices and then others assume that it must be the norm, which leads to mid range 15yr old bikes going for sale at £700 because the sellers need to re-coup the cost of buying individual parts at ridiculous prices.

XT pedals - bought NOS for a fiver
XT Sharksfin - NOS for £6
XT Thumbies - in better condition than these by far for a tenner
