got these two. first up, my XT rear mech from my main rider kilauea - now usurped and replaced by XTR. Yum.

good condition, all tight and strong sprung. jockeys good. this time last week i was using it.... that's how good it is

you presume correctly. it's approx 195mm steerer

as swaps go, a front neon magura HS33 could be of interest, as could a 28.6 BP M950 front mech (funky differential one). actually, tasty parts of that kind of era in general (road or MTB) are my main thing
