Digging in the shed I found this pair of XT thumbies - M732 model.
The left shifter is fine, but the right hand one has snapped in the middle - see photos to see what I mean.
Not sure if this might be fixable with parts from a DX shifter or similar. Otherwise all the rest of the shifter is there and useable - the mount, spring, thumb/lever, etc.
