XT hubs M778 front and M775 rear - new cones

Hi I’ll fixing up my son’s bike which was ebay purchase an upgraded Hoy and can’t find where to buy new cones for these hubs.
They seem to be NLA. Anyone know of any suppliers or hacks please….

Have you tried SJS Cycles?

Some of those shimano hubs with oversized alloy axle the cone is integral to the axle - so you'll need the "axle kit"

If I was at work, I could check availability.
If madison don't have it, you probably can't get it - the only solution is to buy another hub to strip, which could easily be cheaper anyway.

We often buy hubs for fhb/ axle assemblies for this reason.

The front axle usually wears at half the rate of the rear, so you might find a clean and grease is adequate.

Solution was whole new front hub to strip and whole rear axle assembly available from Biikeparts slightly cheaper than SJS in the end…..
