Ok..apologies if you know this, but i know lots read these posts and might want a kinda answer!
The freehub will be missing the inner thread if its uniglide (threads on outside of freehub body only). So you cant put a hyperglide lockring on...uniglide locks on the outer thread and is taken off with chain whips.
M730 and M732 share the same freehub measurement of 30mm (ish) for 6/ 7 speed.
Many m730s may have had a hyperlide conversion done....i did this one.
Freehubs with both inner and outer threads (like standard m732s) are called uniglide compatible freehubs....as they will take both. This was pretty standard for several years post uniglide.
The hub body on a 130mm is 5mm smaller than a 135mm as is the spindle length. Internals and sll other parts are the same.
The hub body is also a slightly different design....kinda more square at the ends on the m730....but without 2 together is hard to see....m730 at bottom of pic (the top one is a m732.
The top one is a 130mm m732 converted to 135mm....it gives 5mm more unsupported axle on the non drive side as you can see, but does even up the spoke tension....swings and roundabouts a bit).
Measurement wise 135 hub bodies on m732 are about 61mm and 130 hub bodies on m732 are 56mm. Measured to the outside of the flanges.
You can also fit more modern " non uniglide compatible" freehubs.....as you can see on this m732....no outer threads.
On end shot...m730 on left....note differing grease post style.
Confused....i am......

. But thats not unusual.
