I have a second identical NOS headset without bearings, box and instructions.
I was going to keep, just in case it's needed in the future, but have decided to sell after the interest.

The bearings required are 1/4" (see second photo).
They can be installed loosely by using grease to hold them in the cup when the headset is apart. 737 model uses loose bearings, see instructions.
I read somewhere that the service life can be extended using this method.
Bearings with the right sized cages might be available at the LBS anyway?

There's a very tiny amount of paint over-run around the bottom rim surface of the cup with the logo (see picture 1).
It is not flaking off and will be completely hidden when the cup is installed into the head tube.

I have taken photos of the full instructions that I will email to the buyer.
