XC Pro Hubs, XT Cantis, SS7 & Suntour brake levers

I came into a nice bag of retro odds and sods recently, and although I’m keeping the XT thumbies and XT rear hub :D the rest is no use to me but it’s good kit and needs to be used

These pics make the stuff look slightly worse than it really is IMO.

If you’re not happy with any item, I’ll refund in full upon return (You pay return post though)
Can’t say fairer than that really! :)

Please email me at peterpoddy AT gmail DOT com with any questions as I might not be able to check this thread too often

Suntour XC Pro Greaseguard Hubs x 2
One has a cassette (11-24) and the correct Suntour QR. This is the best of the two. The bearings are buttery smooth with zero play. The freehub ticks crisply and runs smoothly. The cassette looks hardly worn. It’s a lovely hub, basically.

The second one is fine but the bearings are a bit rough. It would probably benefit from a strip and new bearings, but I’ve not opened it up to look. It’s not too bad as it is, I’ve certainly used a LOT worse many times! Freehub is fine, just as good as the other one

Or the pair for £42

Deore XT cantis
Full set of 4 cantis, they look lovely and shiny, all the springs and backing plates are present, pads are later v-brake XT pads.
Bad points - 2 of the 4 plastic trim washers that sit behind the bolt heads are cracked and there’s only 2 mounting bollts. Nothing bad really, just niggly, but I like to be honest :)
£22 SOLD

Suntour Brake Levers
Plain black Suntour levers, which look very similar to the XC LTD ones I had on my ’91 Cinder Cone, but there’s no code numbers or anything on them that I can see. These will be canti, not vee, brake levers. Decent used condition.

Dia Compe SS7 levers
Nice nick, few scuffs on the clamps. THE classic lightweight brake lever!

Why? I didn't sell them for the advertised price anyway, so it would be inaccurate and pointless, and the actual selling price is between me and the buyer, nobody else! :)

That's the rules:

"- Leave the price in the advert after the item has SOLD. This is good for future pricing of similar items. "

It's really hard pricing the retro stuff so if there are a range of sold items to search for then it makes it a bit easier.

Yes, you already said it was in the rules. But it would still be inaccurate and useless as they didn't sell for the advertised price :)
