I think the single ring setup is ideal - as per my Explosif. I know it's not "retro", but "resto" is cool.

What gear ratio are you running on those big wheels? Something like 40x16?

Love it! Really enjoy that you've a couple of different guises you can alternate between. I don't mind the grey sidewalls on those Vittoria tyres.
Just hope a gate-sized Hot turns up one day, so I can tick that box.

That looks great. I really like the XT cranks. I've not seen that version of the XT crank, but it's one of the nicest looking!
