You're too kind!

Anyone made one? Scaffold poles and a proper clamp type of thing?

If I had a decent garage, I may have considered a wall mounted one. But can't drill through the concrete for som reason. Yes, I have tried masonry bits! Barely touches the pre-fab pannelled sides though.

Prices of these two have come down and you can prolly get them much cheaper. The OP has rare Ritcheys and Scotts. I would never risk an unstable stand ( particularly with young kids around) made of cheap materials or dubious design and potentially denting or damaging a rare retro ride. Nothing beats a pro bike shop quality stand and i have seen used cheap on ebay, if you are patient. The parks are so well engineered you can be sure they will last for many years, plus they dis/assemble in seconds.

Me neither, thats why i reccomended the stand i have :) it is the same design as the first park one you recommended and as the OP stated, not costing the earth

I used to jam a metal pole into a ladder rung hole round my exes bitd. Just put an old inner tube over the pole and hang the bike up by the saddle ( bike tilts forward down ) after leaning the secured ladder base and tilting it against a wall. Its cheap, stable, easy to do and it works well ;)

Funny enough, I do that at work!

Great there , with the racking and a wooden bearer!

I bought one of these. Does the job. I'm sure there is better, but at the price I can't complain.
