Yep ceramic in the alu which is supposed to make all the particles point in the same direction?!? That is what I remember from the mid 90's ad's anyway.

sounds like marketing to me.....

dont know if id even notice a few particles facing a different direction, wouldnt make a difference to the way I crash anyway

Just found this on singletrack, and replied as below:

possibly - I've got a '94 S-works M2, in dark grey (probably wants a re-spray/powder coat). 1" headset, 18", 27.2 seatpost, Cable routing for V-Brakes, but I do have a little hangar on the seatbolt for Canti's if you want it.

The price would need to be right though, as it's done me well, and one of the nicest riding bikes I've ever had, or ridden.

let me know if you're interested.

Ok no probs fairly sure it's a 19" after thinking about it price it was £100-£110 I'll check with ededwards if you go ahead. I don't think I asked the size I just put an ad similar to yours and said I was 6"2.

Mike, that's of course fine with me, after all it's what I did! I really liked the frame but in all honesty hankered after a steel one (on it's way) for sentimental reasons so when someone asked for an M2 and it was the right size all I had to do was seek the permission of the previous owner. I got it 'as was' for postage costs from Europe but then had it powdercoated and got decals (not applied) from Gil in orange. It would look fantastic built up.

Pretty sure it's bigger than 19" though, think it was 20.5" but couldn't swear to it.

well I wasn't really looking to sell, so not got any pics for now (at work) but I'll try and take some. I'm currently planning to use it for Strathpuffer end of January (as a singlespeed) and contemplating an all white paint job for that - would be more intersted in shiny new white powdercoat or slightly tatty original grey?

Not really sure on price - but I'd like to get enough to replace it with a newer (1 1/8) similar frame without loosing out, so ideally around the £300 mark - unless I can score a good deal on a newer version.

do you want it quickly? If not then I'll let you know if I find a suitable replacement for a good price, in which case I would let it go to cover my costs basically. It's a real nice ride and unless I find a suitable reoplacement then I'm afraid I'm hanging on to it.

hiya

cheers but dont really want a frame someone doesnt want to sell , the price is high for me, espically if it need a respray and decals,if it holds sentimental values then the price is usually higher. think by the sounds dude ud be best off keeping it.

many thanx for the offer thou. ill keep looking.

:D

If you don't get anywhere with it, then let me know, cause I've always kind of liked the idea of getting a newer one (Which I can fit newer forks to!) and if I get a good deal then I'd be up for it.

I'll probably get the paint and decals done anyway, just to do it justice, as it's much nicer than it currently looks.

Good luck with your search - when you find one they're sweet bikes
