RockShox Quadra 5 / 10 with grey legs

after some in good condition

stickers not majorly important as i can get some more of those but everything else needs to be in good condition :)

Needs to have a 1 1/8th inch threaded steerer of around 140mm

Thanks in advance :)

How much are these worth to you....?

Quadra 10 NEW IN BOX, unused, never fitted, original box etc, you'll have to replace the crown as it is 1".

I'm not certain I want to part with these, but equally, I don't think I'm going to use them.....

they sound perfect... such a shame about them being 1inch though!

i thought the crowns where all bonded on with quadras? id have to find pretty much a whole other fork

how much where you thinking price wise?

Hi

You're right, the crown is bonded in, I think what I meant was that you could maybe use fork uppers from another set (many of the rockshox fork uppers would be compatible) or you can get headset conversion pieces to make 1" up to 1 1/8", or (because the steerer tube is cro-mo) you can get a correct size steerer brazed/welded over the old one. Lots of choices.

I was planning to use these on my '90 lava dome, but I am enjoying the P2s more than I thought I would, and there is a small complication there anyway.

However, the forks are old shop stock with a whole story attached, and while I have no idea what they'd be worth now, I am almost certain that you won't find another set in box fresh condition very easily, for any price.

You should be able to come across an upper fairly easily though. The one from those 21s that are for sale might fit, even.

What are you planning to do with them? Do you have ooodles of cash or rare and exotic parts that might like to come this way?

I will get them out and photograph them in the week sometime, (tomorrow or Tuesday maybe) but meanwhile, look at the catalogue, because that's how glossy they are.

i dont have oodles of cash nor any rare or shiny things unfortunatley! so i think ill have to pass on these..!

im re-building my first proper mountain bike.. which was a 91/92 GT timberline.. though that has now morphed into a NOS GT Karakoram that i found..

i was going to respray it and put timberline stickers on but ive fallen for the paintjob and itll be staying a karakoram!

It sounds rather good, how did you manage to find a NOS bike that old??

I think the early 90s paint jobs were amazing, would love to see.

In all seriousness, I would probably part with them for £50ish but for much less, I would probably prefer to keep. They may or may not be worth that much, it's impossible to tell. That's why a parts swap for something interesting would be better... apparently these retailed at about £230 bitd!

I don't know. Think about it for as long as you like, you might get something else, and I won't get rid of my forks in the meanwhile.

ok?
