I've got a pretty much complete Mavic groupset, well complete apart from the Mavic branded (but made by Simplex) Retrofriction Shifters and some quill pedals (I suspect made by Gipiemme, Ofmega or the like and branded Mavic although I'm not sure).

First question - did Mavic make any quill pedals?

Second question - if so, does anyone have some that they'd be willing to sell?

Third question - if not, any other quill pedals on offer?

i've got these chaps:-

Yes they did:

I've never seen either of the models listed in the 1979 catalogue, but the later versions pop up from time to time. I don't know where they were actually manufactured, but I was surprised to read recently that MAVIC were buying rough crank forgings from Sakae in the eighties, and finishing them in-house.

I've got some cheap & cheerful silver (Union?) alloy quill pedals you can have for £8.00 posted... very smooth and almost unmarked
