looking to source a 24" wheeled MTB for a local young rider
something needed without the burden of rear suspension

let me know what you have got

Had my ace little (14") Subway set up on 24s, just the frame, Judys (2000, set up for a lightweight) and a few components left now and I miss it :( So if you'd like to build it up (and stop me from doing so!) I've been asking £50 for the frame. Might be able to include postage in that as it's for a good cause  Loads of parts to get you started as well, if you need them.

I'll send you a load more pics if you're interested :)

Not 24 inch wheels, but I built my wife an mtb a few years back, around a v small trek frame. Just bought my wife a clockwork, so her old steed is up for grabs. Full bike, 21 speed low end shimano (all from a Gary fisher I had), though you might want to replace the rst forks as the stantions have started to rust through lack of use.

I need the space so this is going cheap.

Let me know if you are interested, and if you want any pics.

V only, though trek frame used to have a purpose built by trek/removeable disc mount which I am sure are still available.

Not sure of your budget but I've been considering parting with this one. Mostly M900 XTR with GT CNC 155mm granks, NOS RM20 rims, Dia Compe MX99 levers for small hands.
