I picked up a cheap small Puch bike for my lad last year and it's now time I spent some time building it up.
It's a five speed 20" rear wheel which I don't want to replace but I'd like to give him an indexed shifter.
I'd ideally like to get my hands on a 6 speed indexed shifter as that will do the trick nicely. Has anyone got one in their spares box that they're prepared to part with for not too much money?
Alternatively, a Shimano 7 speed shifter won't be far off indexing wise (particularly if you've got a spare old style Dura Ace rear mech too
) or pre-2001 9 speed Campag will be close with a Shimano rear mech.
Can anyone help me get the bike going - it's only the RH rear shifter I need. I'd also like a set of hidden cable brake levers for small hands. Can anyone help here too?
