WTD: In-line gear indicator

I've just put together a new road bike for my wife based on a 1985 Chas Roberts frame (I am so gutted that it's too small for me!) but she insists on using brifters so I've put a set of 7 speed Sora levers on it which work very nicely with the 105 mechs. Alison likes to know which gear she is in but dislikes peering down at the freewheel to work out how many more downshifts she can do. I've seen a couple of inline gear indicators on bikes in the past and one of these would do the job nicely but they aren't available new in the UK so far as I can see. Anyone got one for sale?

Another alternative- though more expensive, is to get a shimano flight deck computer setup.

Would if I could but I can't - Sora 7 speed brifters are not FD compatible, they have the little cover under the hoods but there's no wiring.
