im sure that pipe with the splayed end [cup remover] could be made easily maybe old ss plumbing pipe.after all even if you burr slightly its not going to affect the bearing surfaces.
just bought two spanners e bay £12 posted.
those headset cup presses are well expensive,i thought of a traditional threaded 'g'cramp and perhaps plastic
bushes or even washers as a spacer.ofcourse realising that i would be relying on the inner surfaces of the head tube for allignment . wish i had a precision engineer mate !
went on u tube the other day and a guy got a block of wood and hammered the cups on ! but im not suggesting

went on e bay there's a kit. crown race seater+ cup remover+ cup pressing tool. bout £50 inc post
the cup press looks to be a threaded bar with nuts on the end and plastic bushes.
all depends how often your going to use the stuff i suppose.
